I was confused about how to detox and never did it before. I thought my food intake was relatively healthy, but I definitely needed to make some changes. Now, my sugar cravings are gone! I also eliminated my use of caffeine and sleep medications and wake up much more refreshed now.

I had been unhappy with my eating habits and overall health and decided that I wanted to make some changes. After the detox I am cooking more, cooking healthier foods and have tried foods that I never would have tried before. I feel healthier and more in control of my eating habits. I feel more confident in my ability to cook and eat healthy foods. I also am not as anxious about going to Whole Foods! I'm really glad that I decided to do the detox. I signed up for the detox because I lived in NYC for the summer and was eating out and drinking a ton. I wanted to get back into my healthy groove. As a result of the detox I lost weight and my gastrointestinal problems went away! I think Corrina ROCKS. I felt sluggish and tired most of the time with no desire to do anything after work. I hadn't been able to get rid of the extra layer of fat around my middle, so overall I was feeling pretty depressed. Corrina was very encouraging and her inclusion of mind and spirit as well as physical with the emphasis on loving yourself was critical for me. I now have less cravings for coffee, pastries and ice cream. I still desire them, but I have much more control over my thinking. And more energy because of it! I'm more mindful of my eating - eating slower and appreciating the food with every bite and by doing this I feel that I am finally honoring my body. I feel more grounded and more sure of myself. I am decisive and not so wishy-washy. I am not as depressed, and have leveled out emotionally. I do still feel tired I think due to the medicine I am taking. I think since I have eliminated the toxins, the anti-depressants are working more effectively, and the side effects are too. I don't understand why I have not lost weight. To give up ice cream and cake and cookies along with following your diet, I thought I wold have lost at least 5 lbs. Maybe it will come off in the next couple of weeks.

I signed up for the detox due to an extreme lack of energy and a general feeling of disorganization and lack of focus. And I lost 13 pounds! I don't wake up 'groggy' in the morning! I knew that I needed more accountability to stay on track with healthier eating habits. With little time and a high stress job, I found that I would eat foods that were more convenient than they were healthy, which would exacerbate my digestive issues, my mood and my overall feelings of wellness. I have definitely gained more insight into my digestive sensitivities and how to best feed my body. Due to my food allergies and the effects that foods have on my mood and energy, this program gave me the insight that I needed in a very do-able program. I think this is an amazing detox and would definitely do it again!

I wasn't sure how to eat for my needs. I wanted to learn new recipes, including how to eat for my lactose intolerance, as well as reduce my sugar and carbohydrate intake. Post detox I felt great! Corrina's energy is very calming. It was great speaking with her during our coaching sessions because it helped me focus on what I needed to concentrate on and also different ways of looking at this situation (ie diet = taking care of myself in general) that I really didn't let myself think about. Also having done other detoxes in the past I really like the slow way that we were lead into it and then lead back out. The other ones I have done weren't bad but in some ways I think they might have been a bit of a shock to the system. Also I have never been educated on how different foods affect the body like this detox has done for me. It has always been about just cleaning out the system, not giving you a way of living and eating that you can incorporate into your everyday life. Corrina also gave us other tools to battle stress and negative thinking in our lives, like breathing, journaling, and meditation. So basically what this all comes down to is that her approach is very well rounded. Oh and I love the recipes!
I have a much more balanced diet, which is something that I was lacking before. And I have lost 11 pounds in 3 weeks, which is exactly the jump start I needed and was looking for.

I love Corrina's positive and joyous attitude toward food as self-care. Throughout the detox I felt very supported and guided. I've done Corrina's detoxes in the past and find the seasonal detox a welcome ritual now. I love that the approach is gradual and I appreciate the support of the two phone calls. I also like that this wasn't a master cleanse type thing. There were moments early on where I was cataloging all the things that I wanted to have when I was done, but by the end, the "detox" diet ended up being something I want to try and keep as the foundation of my core everyday diet. (With that all important 10% fudge factor :) I'm no longer drinking coffee or any caffeine products, I'm eating more fruits and vegetables and less meat and bread - overall I'm doing more home cooking. And as a result I have better, steady energy throughout the day which means I feel more centered in my life and my choices.

I was interested in the detox after reading about it in Corrina's newsletter. My main challenge in getting healthier is my sometimes bad eating habits. I experienced great improvement in my sleeping and I definitely felt more relaxed and peaceful. I had blood work done during the detox and my cholesterol was down 20 points and my doctor said my numbers were excellent. I can only attribute this to the detox, and I was so surprised it happened after only 1-2 weeks.

My favorite part of Corrina's approach is the flexibility and custom feel of the program. I don't feel deprived or boxed in about my choices.
