February 4, 2012 - Crow & Friends
10 Sims Road (Bishop's Corner, next to iParty)
West Hartford, CT
We all dream of flying, but who doesn't fear the possibility of a crash and burn? And that is exactly why we need to build a strong foundation of strength, not only physically, but mentally and emotionally too! In this workshop we'll move past those old fears and step into a strong and grounded Bakasana.
There will be something for everyone - from the baby birds just making their way out of the nest to the beautiful birds who've found lift off, but are now wanting to spread their wings even further to FLY! Specifically, we'll cover the foundations of crow, which in itself is the foundation for every arm balance you will ever do. From there we'll learn how to jump in and out of the pose as well as transition it into something entirely new and amazing.
Corrina uses intelligent sequencing to deliberately and creatively build into each unique inversion. Whether you are a beginning student or expert practitioner, this workshop series will empower you in building a stable foundation for your inversion practice. Corrina is known for teaching fun, creative and alignment oriented sequencing that will bring you into the pose with a sense of power and joy.
